Competition terms

The following are the terms and conditions for entry and competing in the Social Enterprise Competition 2010.

Entry into this competition is no guarantee of further funding. It should not be implied or projected as part of your financial plans.

The Social Enterprise Competition 2010 is for social enterprise companies based in UK.
Entry is free and you are under no obligation to purchase.
Your information will kept securely on our servers. Where your data is published on public web sites it must be a honest representation of your companies potential for winning the competition and/or further funding.
Prizes will be consisting of tickets to events, appearance on online networks and download software. This will involve your company attending events, entering data on web sites and downloading software.
Entrants will be expected to respond actively throughout the Competition 2010 process and to potential investors.
No cash alternative or refunds will be offered.
Entries will only be considered by the judges, when registered contestants have completed the full competition application process.
The deadline for entries that have completed the full competition application process is 28^th December 2010 at 6pm GMT.
In the case of a tie lesser prizes may be offered to both parties.
Winners will be notified by the E mail address given by 1^st January 2011. Participation in the prize programme will start shortly after this.
Winners will expected to take part in publicity events and act as ambassadors for the competition.
Where an investment is mentioned this will come from a third party UK qualified sophisticated investor or High Net Worth Individual. The details and funding are beyond the scope of this Social Enterprise Competition 2010. Please read our wealth warning before progressing.
No correspondence about entries will entered into and the decision of the judges is final.
Prize winners of the Social Enterprise Competition 2010 will incur travel expenses and other costs not included in the prizes offered.
This Competition 2010 may be closed at any time and these terms are subject to change without notice.
